Early Intervention Services

Are you concerned or do you have questions about your child's development? You are entitled to requesting a free developmental screening for your child. If your child is under the age of 3 years old he/she could potentially qualify for state and federally funded early intervention services. If your child is older than 3 s/he could qualify for school based services. If you are interested in having your child assessed please visit the Colorado department of education site to find your local community center board. This organization will walk you through the assessment process. Upon completion of the assessment, if your child qualifies for services a service coordinator will work with your family to as a team develop an individualized family service plan based on your child's needs. At this time you can request JumpStarters to provide your in-home therapy. These services are free of charge to the family and will be provided as outlined in your child's individualized plan.
